Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and report concerns in alignment with site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with financial institution procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through accurate reports and shift logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
